WHAT?! I'm just found out that Google Drive also have ability to compress the video with the assistant from Internet Download Manager.
I think you can try to do this trick.
REQUIREMENTS
- Your personal Google Drive account.
- Latest installation of Internet Download Manager.
PROS
- Google Drive stored your files here.
- You can still download back the video in its original size.
- As alternative method to compress the video without using the video compression's applications.
CONS
- Need the requirements as listed above.
- Compression take much time depends on the video's size.
- Percentages (%) of compression may be varied.
- Quality of compressed video will not retained.
- The screen size of compressed video will be set at 640x360p.
HOW?
- Log in and upload your video into Google Drive account.
- Wait until the video finish its encoding process. May take much time depending on video's size. The process is done when you see the video's thumbnail (see below).
- When finished, double-click the video to open the video's preview.
- When the preview is loading, the Internet Download Manager button will appear at the top-right of the preview. Click that button to start the downloading (see below).
- See the comparison between original files and the compressed file after being downloaded below.
Good luck and thank you. :)
